Losing loser loses
If Donald Trump were awake he’d be furious
Donald Trump is constantly chasing the high of 1987.
The mid eighties were good for Trump. He was a high profile real estate developer with a few marquee projects like Trump Tower and The Grand Hyatt under his belt, he owned a casino empire in Atlantic City, he had even dabbled in the glamorous world of sports team ownership in the USFL. The future president topped it all off with his bestseller “The Art of the Deal” a book that cemented his image in the public as a master deal maker and business tycoon. Obviously, it was all bullshit.
He was never a top real estate developer in Manhattan, that would require building properties and collecting rent, something he was too lazy to do. By the late 80s his tacky casino empire was already faltering and the bankruptcies would come fast and furious a few years later. His ownership of the New Jersey Generals ended with the team and league going under. “The Art of the Deal”, a book he didn’t write, purports to distill down the finer points of Donald Trump’s masterful negotiation skills so that you too can be a mogul, except as it turns out, Donald Trump is a conman and a terrible negotiator.
If you need evidence of his inadequacies in the world of high stakes negotiation look no further than his deal, or Memorandum of Understanding, with Iran. In exchange for a gradual lifting of sanctions and the unfreezing of billions in assets Iran agrees to open up the strait that was already open before this big, dumb war. It cost billions of dollars and 13 American lives to get back to exactly where he was when this diaper fire started. Well, not exactly where he started, Iran is now empowered with the knowledge that they can shut down the Strait of Hormuz at a moments notice with a few mines and some drones they bought on Temu. Not only that, but they have a bunch of money coming their way to do with as they please. In the past Iran has used its discretionary income to fund all kinds of fun organizations, many of which appear on terrorist watch lists.
Trump ripped up Obama’s Iran deal, started a war, tanked the global economy and negotiated a watered down version of the same deal he tore up . That is some serious 4-D chess. The White House can spin it all they want, but Trump lost. Gas prices were too high for too long so he surrendered. The Iranian regime remains intact and arguably in a better position than when the war began. Their nuclear infrastructure, at least the parts of it above ground, took a hit but with their impending windfall new centrifuges are a click away. The art of the deal, my ass.

DITTO!!
Except it seems you may have overlooked Point 8. If CNN has the correct information, while Iran agrees it will never PRODUCE a nuclear weapon, it is free to purchase one from, say, North Korea or even the Soviet Union.
Yup, just can't stand that winning!!
And the Reflecting Pool, "fixed" by a no-bid contractor who scampered merrily away with something like $14M, still leaks and now resembles like the Bog of Eternal Stench, making it an apt symbol for MAGA-World writ large.
