Has anybody seen this movie before? It seems familiar, but I can’t put my finger on the title. A president clearly in over his head picks a fight with a middle eastern nation under ginned up accusations of weapons of mass destruction. Bombs are dropped, there’s talk of regime change and stuff like that. How did it end? Did we win? Were we greeted as liberators? Gosh, I hope so.
Bombing a region into stability never made that much sense to me, but what do I know, I’m not a stable genius who bankrupted a half dozen casinos and the USFL.
For a guy who promised no more wars, he sure is dropping a lot of bombs. The next one is going to land here in America and it’s going to cause a massive upward redistribution of wealth. Take cover.
I don't intend to be argumentative, but regarding "Bombing a region into stability never made that much sense to me," August 6 is right around the corner.
The situations are completely different, but as Freud said: Sometimes a bomb is just a bomb.
